Final Year Project: Anjie's Arcade

This project was a full 6 month development time to showcase all my skills I have learnt throughout the course. I picked some of my favourite ideas and themes and put them all together to create Anjie's Arcade!

The game itself is an Arcade style game where the player can walk around and play 3 different minigames ; A maze game , and Endless Runner and a 2D escape game. 

For the project I spent 2 months writing a Game Design Document and Technical Design Document and I then started creating assets. All of the UI assets were created by me using Photoshop and only some of the 3D assets were created by me using Blender.

The main process was done using Agile methodology which allowed me to refine details and fix any bugs within code by going back and forth.

GROUP PROJECT

ROLE: UI Design, Level Design, Layout

For this project I was responsible for the creation of UI assets and laying them out within the game. This involved linking different buttons and elements to different functions and player stats. All of the UI assets used are my own as well as the code written behind them.

I was also partially responsible for the level design, I contributed to the layout of the buildings and animals in the scene.

AnjuMaze

This project is a Mobile Development game I completed during my second year.

Apart from the assets used all the work done is my own including the design , layout and gameplay. The game itself is a simple and easy to play maze game which is aimed at casual players. I designed the UI with ease of use in mind and wanted the player to pick up the game easily without needing too much guidance. I feel I achieved this with the use of imagery within the UI such as titles and pictures.

Disclaimer: Assets used are not mine , this project was me exploring UI and how to use it within Unity and different games.
